Following a difficult few years for national and international sport, the National Rivals championship has risen to top of the online viewers ratings. The competition has grown so big that teams/families are receiving sponsorship from large companies for reaching the city championships. Teams/Families compete to win honours, homes, cars, and incredible lifestyles in an annual competition that features various sports, games and challenges.

Kiko dreams of one day being part of the Rivals tournament, but her family is hardly the sporty type. When bad turns to worse, and Kiko’s family face eviction from their apartment, in her desperation she reaches out to her Grandfather back in her home town in Japan. Reluctant to help his son, Kiko’s grandfather connects her to her cousin who may be willing to help.
