Sohng knows little more than his own name. Locked deep beneath the ground, in one of Arca’s many prisons, his dreams are his only escape. With the Kingdom of the Light all but destroyed, the Mardern now rule. The powerful Huido, fugitives of the new regime, fight to protect the innocent children of Arca as they are hunted down by merciless Mardern. Sohng opens his eyes in the outside world, unaware of the dangers that already creep towards him. As the Mardern hunt him down, and the Huido refuse to protect him, Sohng is all but left to fend for himself. As the truth of Sohng’s forgotten past begins to unfold, it becomes impossible to escape his unforgiving fate.
