Why Grangor?

Too many good stories go nowhere because authors are expected to do everything alone. They write the work, search for approval, wait for replies, try to market themselves, and often still struggle to reach real readers. Grangor was created to change that.

Instead of relying on one gatekeeper, Grangor gives stories a place to be submitted, seen, tested, improved, and, where appropriate, published with support. It gives authors a way to grow interest before publication, collaborate with others, and earn from their work without giving up copyright.

Registration Is Not Publication

Creating an account on Grangor does not mean you are published.

Registration simply allows you to join the platform as an Applicant. As an Applicant, you can create submissions, build a presence, explore the platform, and begin putting your work in front of readers and editors.

Nothing is published as an official Grangor title unless you are selected and offered a publishing agreement.

What Happens When You Register

When you register, you become an Applicant.

Applicants can create both public and private submissions, develop ideas, present stories for consideration, and begin engaging with the Grangor platform before any publishing decision is made.

This gives you a chance to test interest, show potential, and begin building momentum before publication is even on the table.

Public and Private Submissions

Public Submissions

A public submission is visible on the platform and can be seen by readers. This is best for authors who want to test a concept, attract attention, gather votes, build curiosity, and show demand for their story.

Public submissions can help strong ideas rise naturally. They allow readers to respond, engage, and show interest before a publishing decision is made.

Private Submissions

A private submission is not publicly visible and is intended for authors who want to share their work with Grangor more discreetly.

This is better for manuscript samples, more developed material, or authors who want consideration without exposing the work to readers first.

Private submissions are reviewed by verified Grangor Editors approved by platform admin. Editors may rate submissions and provide feedback to help identify the strongest work. Grangor then reviews the highest rated and most promising private submissions and may choose to offer publication, request revisions, or invite re submission.

How to Become a Contributor

Becoming an Applicant is the first step. Becoming a Contributor is earned.

If your work shows strong potential, whether through reader interest, editor assessment, quality, originality, or a combination of factors, Grangor may choose to offer you a publishing agreement for that title.

If you accept, you become a Contributor for that publication and your story enters Grangor’s publishing process.

Registration opens the door. Submission creates the opportunity. Selection leads to publication.

What the Publishing Agreement Means

If Grangor offers to publish your story, you will be offered a fixed term publishing agreement for that specific title.

You keep copyright of your work at all times.

Grangor receives the exclusive rights needed to publish that title in digital reading, ebook, and audiobook or audio formats for a fixed term of 3 years.

This allows us to publish, promote, and build your title properly while protecting both sides. At the end of the term, those licensed rights return to you unless both sides agree in writing to renew.

You NEVER pay Grangor to publish your work.

Read the publishing terms in plain English.

Why Submit to Grangor

Submitting to Grangor gives your story more than a yes or no.

It gives you a chance to place your work in front of real readers, show demand, attract support, and demonstrate that your story deserves to move forward.

Even before publication, submissions can help you build visibility, gather proof of interest, and strengthen your position.

For many authors, that is far more valuable than sending work into silence and waiting for an answer.

What You Gain If Your Story Is Published

Publication on Grangor is designed to offer more than a listing on a website.

Published Contributors can benefit from royalties, platform promotion, ongoing visibility, collaboration with other creators, and a structured environment built to help strong stories grow.

You may also have opportunities to work with editors, artists, proof readers, and other contributors who can help strengthen the final publication.

Instead of having to do everything alone, you become part of a publishing ecosystem built around creation, improvement, and reach.

Free Marketing and Support. What That Actually Means

If your story is accepted for publication, Grangor helps bring attention to it through the platform, story placement, featured sections, launch support, visibility to readers, and ongoing promotion as part of the wider Grangor catalogue.

Support may include guidance, presentation, formatting, publication structure, and access to collaboration opportunities that help improve the quality and potential of the final release.

In other words, we do not just publish stories. We help them become stronger, more visible, and more likely to succeed.

How Royalties Work

Published Contributors can receive royalties from the performance of the stories they contribute to.

Royalties are paid per story and calculated quarterly.

Each published story receives a base share, with additional royalty allocation influenced by performance. This means stories are not left to survive on attention alone, while strong reader demand can still increase earnings.

Contributors who help create or improve a published story may also receive a royalty for their contribution where applicable.

Your potential earnings depend on the performance of the title, the size of the audience, the level of engagement, and the share attached to your contribution.

Some titles may earn modestly. Others may grow significantly over time. The key point is this: if your work helps create value on Grangor, there is a system in place for you to share in that value.

How the Process Works

Step 1.

Create your free account and join Grangor as an Applicant.

Step 2.

Build your profile and prepare your idea, concept, sample, or manuscript material.

Step 3.

Create a public submission if you want reader visibility and engagement, or a private submission if you want quieter consideration.

Step 4.

Public submissions are reviewed through reader response, editorial assessment, quality signals, or a combination of these. Private submissions are reviewed by verified Grangor Editors, who may rate them and provide feedback before Grangor considers the strongest submissions internally.

Step 5.

If Grangor believes the story should move forward, you may receive a publishing agreement offer for that title.

Step 6.

If you accept, you become a Contributor for that publication.

Step 7.

Your title enters the publishing process and may be developed, presented, promoted, and published on the platform.

Step 8.

If published, the story can begin earning royalties in line with Grangor’s royalty structure.

You NEVER pay to submit

You NEVER pay to be considered.

You NEVER give up copyright ownership.

Registration does not lock you into publication.

Only accepted titles receive a publishing offer.

The rights granted to Grangor are limited to the specific title, formats, and fixed term set out in the publishing terms.

That means clarity up front, protection for authors, and a model built around real publication rather than false promises.

F.A.Q

No. Registration only makes you an Applicant. Publication happens only if Grangor chooses to offer you a publishing agreement for a specific title and you accept it.

An Applicant is a registered user who can create submissions and put work forward for consideration. Applicants are not automatically published Contributors.

A public submission can be seen on the platform and is useful for attracting reader attention and testing demand. A private submission is not publicly visible and is better for authors who want more discretion.

Private submissions are reviewed by verified Grangor Editors approved by platform admin. Editors may rate submissions and provide feedback to help identify the strongest work, but final publication decisions remain with Grangor.

Yes. Published Contributors may have opportunities to collaborate with editors, artists, proof readers, and other creators through Grangor’s ecosystem.

Royalties are paid quarterly and are linked to published stories and eligible contributions. Each story receives a base share, with additional royalty distribution influenced by performance.

If your story has not been accepted for publication, normal submission management rules apply. If your story is published under a Grangor publishing agreement, the licensed rights run for the agreed fixed term unless rights revert earlier under the terms.

The licensed digital reading, ebook, and audio rights revert to you automatically unless both sides agree in writing to renew.

Because Grangor gives authors a chance to test demand, build visibility, attract readers, and move toward publication in a more open and supportive environment.
